1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Vampire Tango Game Pty Ltd uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on vampiretangogame.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. References to “cookies” in this policy include HTML5 localStorage, sessionStorage and comparable technologies that store information on, or retrieve information from, your browser or device.
The current website does not use advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics cookies. It uses limited first-party browser storage for age confirmation, notice acknowledgement and local game functionality.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small text record a website asks a browser to store. sessionStorage and localStorage are browser features that can retain key-value data for a single session or for longer. These technologies can support authentication, security, preferences, measurements and advertising, but Vampire Tango currently uses them only for the purposes listed below.

Browsers or hosting infrastructure may use transient technical mechanisms necessary to transmit content, balance network traffic or protect the service. If a provider-controlled identifier is introduced, this table will be updated after an appropriate review.
4. Legal basis and consent
Rules governing device storage may apply even where the stored information is not personal data. Where the EU ePrivacy rules, UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or equivalent requirements apply, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user may be used without consent, although clear information must still be provided. Any related processing of personal data is addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Because the current values are used only for requested essential functionality and do not support analytics or advertising, the website provides an acknowledgement control rather than optional-category toggles. If we introduce non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising technologies, they will be disabled by default where consent is required. We will provide equally prominent accept and reject choices, category-level information and a mechanism to withdraw consent before those technologies are deployed.
5. No advertising or analytics cookies
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising networks, fingerprinting, cross-site behavioural tracking or cookies that build marketing profiles. We do not sell cookie identifiers. Following a link to an external website does not place that third party’s cookies through Vampire Tango, although the destination may use its own technologies after you arrive.
6. How to manage or delete storage
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser’s privacy or site settings. The exact controls differ by browser and device. Clearing Vampire Tango site data will remove the age-confirmation and notice values and may reset temporary game progress. Blocking all storage may cause the age prompt or notice to reappear and may prevent parts of the game from functioning as intended.
You may also use private-browsing mode, which generally limits retention after the private session closes. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not used as a consent mechanism because the website does not conduct cross-site tracking. If optional technologies are added later, preference controls will be offered directly on the site where legally required.
7. Embedded content and external websites
The game is embedded from the same website origin and is not presently described as a third-party tracking service. Links to GamCare, GambleAware, GAMSTOP and other external sites open independently. Those organisations determine their own cookie practices, and you should review their policies when visiting them.
8. Updates and review
We periodically audit website code and storage to keep this list accurate. We will update this policy before or when storage practices materially change. If a new purpose requires consent, existing acknowledgement will not be treated as consent for that new purpose.
